Now it’s time to dig a little deeper into what the plasticsmiths at Yujin call “Shooting Game Historica,” with a new batch of five shooter ships getting the capsule toy treatment.
Those looking to pick up the Xbox 360 port of arcade shooter Raiden IV on September 11th in Japan, bad news. The release date has been pushed back to October 2nd so developer Moss can increase the Xbox 360 version’s quality. And that’s not necessarily a bad thing! Just a time consuming one.

If you need further proof that the Xbox 360 is your shooter console, here ya go: Raiden IV has been announced for the Microsoft machine. Developer Moss is porting the arcade shmup to the home console and will offer new aircrafts via DLC. For a limited time, the game’s soundtrack will be included as well. Raiden IV is out September 11th in Japan.

The upcoming issue of Japanese gaming mag Famitsu has the first details about the Raiden IV home port. The game will be hitting the Xbox 360 and will feature the standard arcade game, plus two new stages, LIVE and the ability to share replay saves with online buddies. There’s even an option for vertical (“tate”) for those with swivel arm HD TVs who want that true vertical shooting experience. Game shoots up Japanese Xbox 360s this September.
