Fans willing to give digital download a try when THQ’s Darksiders releases on the PC this week will get a free game for their trouble, scoring Titan Quest, Red Faction: Guerrilla or Company of Heroes, depending on where you buy.
THQ’s plans for a Red Faction movie may be just the beginning for the Martian sci-fi smash ‘em up. The SyFy network-produced made for TV movie may eventually become its own ongoing series.
Even if Darksiders owners didn’t have that special “mystery” coupon that was previously required to secure a free copy of Red Faction Guerrilla, they can still snag a complementary copy of THQ’s Martian shooter. There is, of course, an asterisk.
THQ’s recent Martian hit Red Faction Guerrilla will get a sequel sooner than you may have expected, with the publisher’s CEO announcing that a follow-up is in the works. And you’ll get a look at it at this year’s E3.
