Trials Evolution has a new track editor. It’s pretty in-depth. How in-depth? Well you could, if you wanted to, literally use it to create a first person shooter.

We’ve seen a bunch, but when the developer of a video game actually helps create something, that it’s entire audience will engage, to help one man propose to his girlfriend — that’s taking it to a whole new level. But that’s precisely what Red Lynx did, using their latest iOS game 1000 Heroz.
Ubisoft has announced that it has acquired RedLynx, the creator of Xbox LIVE hit Trials HD. According to Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot, Ubisoft were attracted to the strength of the RedLynx brand.
Racing – real racing – is all the line, finding the best approach to a turn, the best route through a curve and into a straight away.
Forty more white-knuckle, teeth-gnashing tracks are on the way for Trials HD in an expansion pack, due for release sometime after mid-November, titled “Big Thrills”. Ten more user-created tracks, chosen by contest, will be also part of the download.
RedLynx, the developer of the well received downloadable title Trials, said that it seeded pirate torrent sites with neutered copies of the game in order to stoke interest in the title.
