I didn’t much like the squad-based shooter set in Resident Evil‘s hometown when it came out last month. But some of you all did. You’re in luck, then as Capcom’s announced new add-on content that lets you play as ORC’s would-be heroes.
Reviews of Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City were not kind. It opened to terrible reviews, especially for a title releasing under that name and publisher. “Not worth playing” and “a mediocre slog with annoying difficulty spikes” is the appraisal of Kotaku’s Evan Narcisse, in his review.
The next instalment in Capcom’s survival horror series puts players in a three-sided warzone with two human factions gunning for each other and zombie-fied humans and beasts out to chomp whoever they can.
If wall scrolls and pre-order bonuses are your thing, then you might want to head into JB Hi-Fi at some stage and slap the cash down for Asura’s Wrath, Street Fighter X Tekken or Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City.

The entirely CGI E3 premiere trailer for Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City found its way to the Internet sometime this morning via Europe. You may see it here. No gameplay, but it deals with the game’s story through the eyes of Umbrella operatives tasked with cleaning up their little T-virus mess.
