Street Fighter IV Arcade In The US? No. But Australia, Singapore? Maybe!

Street Fighter IV won’t be officially released in US arcades. But that doesn’t mean it won’t be released anywhere outside Japan. Take Australia, for example. Or Korea, or Singapore. It might come out there!

Street Fighter IV Battle Pits Capcom Against Microsoft Against Sony

Euro SFIV Collectors Edition Boxes Detailed

Capcom Europe has dropped details on the limited Collectors Edition Box sets for Street Fighter IV that European and Australian fans will be able to get their hands on come February 20th.

The boxes themselves are rather attractive in their own right, featuring a classic Street Fighter scene on the outer case. Inside players will discover a set of limited edition figurines representing Street Fighters past and present, with fan-favourite Ryu joined by the ridiculously busty newcomer, Crimson Viper. Along with the toys, Capcom is also including a bonus disc containing a selection of trailers and a full-length anime movie specially created for the launch of the game. Icing the cake is a mini strategy guide for the four new characters and the promise of exclusive downloadable content.

Here’s hoping we see something similar stateside, though I doubt my fireplace mantle is big enough to host both Crimson Viper AND her breasts. Hit the jump for the Xbox 360 version of the Collectors Edition.

Chun-Li Invites You To ‘Hit It Again For the First Time’

Capcom’s gone dizzy for and silly for slogans. The home console advertising push for SFIV features characters fighting against block-coloured backgrounds with big, cheeky text. Some of them work and work really well and some do not at all. Any favorites? Take a squizz at these screenies to help decide.

Street Fighter IV Coming To US Consoles ‘This Winter’ Says Yoshi Ono

Street Fighter IV Arcade is like a bowl of cherries – only the bowl is only available in Japan and you have to pay $$$ to illegally import the cherries. Then you have to solder the cherries to, er, a different bowl and they may not work and, er, taste wrong.

Sakura’s Knickers Kick Ken’s Face In New SFIV Screens

The big Street Fighter-related surprise from TGS last week was the inclusion of Sakura. Surprising in that they announced her, and not Cammy, who they must be holding for the Christmas news cycle. Anyway, Crecente tried out the new, improved, slightly-older Sakura last week and had a blast. You, though, can’t use her just yet, so why not pass the time with these new screens.

A New Street Fighter IV Trailer Has A Little Bit of Everything

Face it, TGS is like a huge magnet when it comes to attracting great trailers. So when it came time for Street Fighter IV to take the stage it was no surprise that the trailer wasn’t anything less than awesome. There’s all sort of eye candy in this one from gameplay footage to the brush art sequences we’ve come to know and love. Or maybe you’re into Street Fighter anime, no problem it’s got that too. So don’t feel bad if you want to stick around for repeated viewings.

Here Are Your New Street Fighter IV Screens

Where there’s a will, there’s certainly a way to play Street Fighter IV. Some lucky folks may be able to find an arcade around their area. You can head over to Japan like Crecente and crew and get beaten by someone who probably hasn’t left the arcade since the game came out. Or you can spend thousands of dollars and rig up a Taito Type X2 to your TV. However, for us in North America, our options at this point are at best, limited. So while we wait anxiously for our console release next year, enjoy these screens after the break.
