I avoid Modern Warfare multiplayer, because it’s no fun to lose all the time. (I’ve got no time to practice!) But you might be having fun — and I might finally have the will to join you, thanks to a twist in two of the three new maps coming to the Xbox 360 in the coming days.

As we reported, along with just about everything else about the game, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will indeed be hitting on November 8, 2011, according to an Activision press release and last night’s trailer. The release also goes on to say the game is in development by Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games. Hmmm, no mention of Raven…
