Rumour: Yngwie Malmsteen, More Soundgarden Coming To Rock Band

10:00AM Michael McWhertor | The next batch of downloadable tracks for Rock Band and Rock Band 2 may have been leaked a little early, courtesy of the in-game music store and some eagle-eyed ScoreHero forum members. We’d advise you to take it as rumour for now, as the face-melting promise of these tracks would only lead to disappointment if they’re incorrect. We’re talking about the oft-requested by Luke Plunkett “Jesus Christ Pose” by Soundgarden and a triple shot of Yngwie (Fucking) Malmsteen. Oh, and Lamb of God if that’s up your alley. Harmonix Forgets Soundgarden Were Awesome

7:30PM Luke Plunkett | As far as how well songs are suited towards Rock Band, Soundgarden’s Black Hole Sun is BORING. The Chili Pepper’s Dani California is even worse. Yet for some reason we have people claiming that the Rock Band tour currently doing the rounds shows these two tracks have made it into the game. Not really a Chili Peppers fan, but I at least know their older works are rock-heavy (at least for the purposes of this game). I am a Soundgarden fan, and know that this is the band that brought us Jesus Christ Pose.
