Marketplace Adds Blue Dragon DLC, Spider-Man 3 PS3 Exclusive Content

A smattering of new additions to the Xbox Live Marketplace breathes some new life into older Xbox 360 games Blue Dragon and Spider-Man 3. The latter is enhanced by the downloadable “New Goblin,” formerly a PlayStation 3 exclusive feature but now available to whomever is willing to shell out 240 Microsoft Points. You’ll still have to defeat him in-game to add him to the unlockable character list, but think of the bragging right(s)!

Also available is the “6 Treasures” pack for Mistwalker’s Blue Dragon. For the low, low price of 200 Microsoft Points, you’ll get a half-dozen new items that will boost your stats and give you access to new abilities. The specific details on each are after the jump.

Spider-Man 3 PSP Finally Released

Personally I had assumed they had just scrapped the PSP version of Spider-Man 3 considering the critical beating its console cousins took at the hands of nearly every reviewer imaginable, but apparently Activision has some sort of “no platform left behind” philosophy, as they’ve just announced it’s imminent arrival on retail store shelves, where it will most likely spend the remainder of its days save for a few unsuspecting parents hunting for Christmas gifts and people confusing it for Spider-Man: Friend or Foe. The PSP version does feature an exclusive Conquest Mode that adds a time element to missions, but conversely subtracts an analogue stick, adding a frustrating element to the missions. It has been a few months now though, so maybe they took some time to polish it up? Could this be the ultimate version of Spider-Man 3? Nope.
