The highly anticipated — and it says a lot that term is being used with a flash game — Super Mario Bros. Crossover 2.0 is available to play now from Jay Pavlina and Exploding Rabbit.
In 2010, a fan-made game called Super Mario Bros. Crossover was released, which let players tackle the Nintendo classic using not just the standard plumber, but a cast of characters from other 8-bit games as well.

Jay Pavlina’s not done with his awesome-sauce Super Mario Bros Crossover. It’s totally getting post-release support. And an update on the way June 25 will give Link, Samus, Mega Man et al even more powers and attacks.
What if Exploding Rabbit’s excellent Flash game Super Mario Crossover were a real Nintendo game? It would probably look something like this.
