A recent highly scientific study found that when it comes to putting a bullet in a humanoid target’s brain, Super Mario Galaxy doesn’t help.
Last week, I was so happy to publish a feature about the incredible screenshots of DeadEndThrills, a.k.a. Duncan Harris. Duncan is regularly cranking out so many terrific shots over on his site that I thought it would be fun to share some highlights from each week, as well as a few classics from his many collections.

Super Mario 128 was the quintessential tech demo. Shown at Nintendo’s Space World in 2000 to put the then-unreleased Gamecube through its paces, it featured — you guessed it — 128 Mario models goofing off on-screen.
Confirming our August 8 report, Nintendo confirmed today that Super Mario Galaxy, Super Paper Mario, Mario Strikers Charged and Punch-Out will sell for $US20 starting August 28 as part of the Nintendo Selects line.
Super Mario Galaxy has a rather impressive orchestral soundtrack. Composer, violinist and cosplayer Diwa de Leon makes it even more impressive by performing it all by himself.
