Last week, I was so happy to publish a feature about the incredible screenshots of DeadEndThrills, a.k.a. Duncan Harris. Duncan is regularly cranking out so many terrific shots over on his site that I thought it would be fun to share some highlights from each week, as well as a few classics from his many collections.
It’s easy to underestimate the broad depth of the Super Smash Bros. franchise, but beneath the simple mechanics lies an incredibly in-depth meta-game and an huge community dedicated to playing and refining their smash skills. Some hardcore Smashers decided that the most recent effort, Brawl, didn’t quite live up to expectations, so they set about tweaking the game. The end result? Project M.
I wasn’t aware Conan O’Brien was an unlockable character in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Well, that’s because he isn’t. This is a mod by user Ike_Lawliet that turns Snake into the Late Night host. He even does the string dance at the end of a round. [via GameInformer]
The Wii release of Super Meat Boy is looking grim, but resourceful Super Smash Bros Brawl hackers find a way to get the blocky man of meat into Nintendo’s beat ‘em up. Kirby sure is flexible!
