Video games might finally be done ruining the performances of quality actors. For months, the makers of the video game L.A. Noire have boasted that their interactive 1947 detective story would use new technology to transport actors’ real facial expressions into a virtual world.
It’s been a while since we’ve heard from Rockstar Games and Max Payne 3, a game that’s still without a release date. But Rockstar promised it’s “still working hard on Max” and to deliver “news in the coming months” late last year.
Some game booths here at PAX East turn heads because of their posters or their people dressed in mech suits. That’s too classy for Duke Nukem Forever.
Rockstar Games’ delayed Max Payne 3 was curiously absent from publisher Take-Two’s 2011-2012 release schedule today, but reps assure Kotaku “We’re still working hard on Max, and we’ll have more news in the coming months.”
Looks like someone at 2K Games had a little leftover resurrection potion from whatever they used on Duke Nukem Forever because the formerly dead downloadable content for BioShock 2 on PC is alive. It’s coming. Viva PC Gaming Week!
