The Chase In Motion

4:00AM Mike Fahey | The Chase: Felix Meets Felicity is aimed at chicks? Then why do I get all wide-eyed and fluttery while watching the trailer for Atari and developer Razorback’s adorable little stylus-assisted platformer? Surely I am not a chick, nor a dame, a broad, or any other nickname for the female of the species that AJ can get away with because she’s part of that exclusive club, but I’ll still happily have this game in my DS once it hits next February. Sure it borrows a few moves from Kirby’s Canvas Curse, but wasn’t that fun? I’m ready for more like that one. More »

The Chase is on for February

10:20AM AJ Glasser | For whatever reason, I wasn’t allowed to talk about this game for months. I was almost scared they’d scrapped it for some bizarre legal reason (since The Chase is the name of several different movies). But luckily it looks like The Chase: Felix Meets Felicity is back on track for a 2009 release. More »

Atari Gives Chase To The DS

3:40AM Mike Fahey | It may have a ridiculous name and a cheesy storyline, but Atari’s newly announced The Chase: Felix Meets Felicity has all the earmarks of the sort of quirky platformer that thrives on the Nintendo DS. You play as either Felicity or Felix as they rush through town on the way to meet each other for a date. Along the way you will face various obstructions and enemies dead set on keeping you from your true love, using the DS stylus to draw platforms to help navigate your way to your ultimate goal – nookie. Now I’m not sure if nookie is involved, but with power-ups that include the Love-Rush and Love-Nuke, it’s easy enough to imagine.
