Far Cry 3 And The Stranger In A Strange Land I’m not normally the biggest fan of Threadless tees. But this one? This one I’m down with. It’s not new, no, but it seems to have gone by largely unnoticed, which is a shame. The world has plenty of “God” games, not nearly enough God games.
Playing God [Threadless]
“8-Bit Investigation” is among the more clever pixel art designs we’ve seen in some time. A tribute to Sierra’s adventure games gone by, the shirt explores the aftermath of one character’s graphic (pun definitely intended) fall from a building. From the splattered pixels on the pavement to the pixel puking in the background, it’s another one of those almost obnoxiously cute designs that the Threadless community is known for. $US 20, but I wish it came in other colours than gray.
8-Bit Investigation [Threadless]
The Space Invaders inspired design that we posted about late last year has become an official Threadless item, ready to be snapped up by t-shirt fans with an extra $15 (or $US 17, for the ladies) in their pockets. Putting me in poppy orange is like putting me in madras, so I’ll be passing, but retro fans with an eye for steampunk may find it suitable enough. Everyone else seemed to like it at the time, so a link to the online haberdasher is provided below.
Interloper From Beyond The Heavens [Threadless]
The design community at Threadless has approved yet another video game themed design, this one based on classic block dropper Tetris. Actually, it could very well be based on Technos’ Block Out, a three dimensional take on the genre that was a personal favorite during my arcade employment duties. Anyway, back on topic, the design “I Hate Packing” is ready for your buying pleasure with Threadless listing all sizes as having “plenty in stock.” It’s cute, as are all things Threadless.

It always disappoints me when I see a really great t-shirt on Threadless and then come to the realisation that it probably won’t get made due to copyright issues. Such is the case with this awesome Tanooki Suit Mario t-shirt that arrived on Threadless a few days ago and is currently up for voting. Extra points for Mario eating out of a garbage can with his fellow tanuki brothers. Super extra points for not including the frighteningly oversized testicles that tanuki’s are traditionally drawn with.
