After a Portuguese board game blocked the European release of Double Fine’s XBLA title Trenched, Microsoft confirmed today that the game will be released in Europe this September under the new title Iron Brigade.

How best to explain the wonderfully unusual Trenched? It’s true that it’s a tower defence game. It’s also a third-person shooter, a deeply customizable war game with loot drops and online player progression.
