The fate of the Warhammer 40,000 MMO has been revealed: It’s no longer a Warhammer 40,000 MMO. THQ has announced Warhammer 40,000: Dark Millennium has been “refocused” as a single-player action game with multiplayer elements, a change that brings with it substantial layoffs at developers Vigil Games and Relic Entertainment.
The extended announcement trailer for THQ’s Darksiders II is here, giving us a deeper appreciation of Death and his majestic steed. Is it just me, or is that horse looking a little pallid?
While Darksiders fans won’t see a sequel until 2012, that doesn’t stop THQ from rolling out the tie-in merchandise, starting with a 288-page art book coming from UDON Entertainment, debuting as a limited hardcover edition at the San Diego Comic-Con.
It’s the end of the world as we know it, and PC gamers should be feeling fine, now that THQ and developer Vigil Games confirm a June release for the PC version of Darksiders.
