God Hand was once described as being “like writing a friendly letter by hand while wearing brass knuckles”. I am not entirely sure what that means, although I do know that I now have God Hand on my PS3 thanks to my brother’s downloading skills, so I guess that is what I will be playing this weekend. How about you?
I’m a big eye-roller. At E3 this year, I’m pretty sure I spent at least half my time rolling my eyes every time I heard anyone say that they were going to “take a game to the next level”, or that their sequel was going to “exceed expectations”. What does any of that even mean? One of the few games that didn’t make me roll my eyes was El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron. So that’s what I’m playing this weekend. How about you?
Sometimes we need to put aside the video games and play The Game Of Life. No, I’m not talking about the board game. I’m talking about spending the weekend doing work.
This weekend will be one of handheld gaming as I spend six hours on trains heading back and forth from the city of Newcastle to get closer to nature for journalism purposes. This means I will probably kidnap a koala. This also means I will finally get a chance to try out Age of Empires II for DS. How about you? What are you playing this weekend?
I’m sure I wasn’t the only one feeling a bit smug when I found out that Australia would be getting a release of Xenoblade Chronicles when the US would be left without, so this weekend I’m going to be sitting around looking smug whilst smugly playing this critically acclaimed JRPG. What will you be smugly or not-so-smugly playing this weekend?
This weekend is going to be a special one for me. I’ve decided to dust off my 3DS and finally finish off Ocarina of Time, after abandoning it halfway through the Forest Temple. But what about you guys? What are you going to be playing this weekend?
