Disney’s latest project is called Wreck-it Ralph, an animated movie which follows a video game bad guy who wants to take out his nemesis Fix-it Felix. It sounds pretty meta and awesome. Disney has just released the first poster art for the game, and it seems to have an awesome 8-bit aesthetic.
Last month, we first saw concept art from Disney’s upcoming animated feature Wreck-It Ralph. Set inside the world of video games, the film features a game villain — the titular Ralph — in his quest to become more than the sum of his pixelated parts.
Disney’s upcoming Wreck-It-Ralph is “the story of an arcade game Bad Guy determined to prove he can be a Good Guy.” Rich Moore, an animation director whose credits include The Simpsons, Futurama and The Critic, is directing. John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman, Jack McBrayer and Jane Lynch are lending their vocal talents to the flick, with Reilly playing the bad guy Wreck-It Ralph.
It seems like everyone has their own convention these days, so it should surprise no one that Disney’s insiders club hosted the third “D23 Expo” last weekend in Anaheim, California.
