Maybe it’s just me, but the word “cock” gets plenty of action in this instalment of Ben Croshaw’s Zero Punctuation. I suppose Alone in the Dark and man parts just go together. Seeing as the word is not often associated with excellence, you shouldn’t have any trouble guessing what Croshaw thought of Eden Games’ survival horror title. Oh, and Atari gets smacked around as well.

Every week I fear watching Zero Punctuation. It’s true. My tiny mind can’t comprehend how “Yahtzee” can maintain the hilarity from week to week, let alone his not-so-subtle poignancy regarding the factors that make a decent game fall short of its potential. So far my fears have been unrequited, and now that I’ve enjoyed his latest review of Guitar Hero III, I will sleep soundly…until next week…if by “soundly” you mean waking in cold sweats with images of oral to anal barbed wire flossing.

We’re not sure if Yahtzee hates MOH Airborne or America more. But he’s pretty funny as usual on both accounts. And we appreciate when he points out that at this point even video games about WWII have lasted longer than the real WWII. What can we say? We freaking love teabagging Hitler.
