Everything Coming To Netflix, Stan And Foxtel This April

While neither Stan nor the Australian Netflix library has anything near the range of US streaming services, every month we get just a little more. Foxtel is also adding a huge number of popular titles to its on-demand streaming, and Amazon Prime is releasing its line up of original series on Prime. Read on to see all the content that will be added to their libraries during the month of April.

Netflix

This month, Netflix goes strong on its original features, continuing with weekly episodes of Riverdale, delivering a dose of science with Bill Nye Saves The World and mixing up the idea of a documentary in Casting JonBenet. The 100 is finally back for Season 3 on Australian Netflix, and you’ve got all you need for a scary movie night with A Nightmare On Elm Street and Lights Out.

Here are some of the highlights:

Bill Nye Saves The World

Bill Nye hosts a talk show exploring scientific issues from space exploration to fad diets. Guests join Bill Nye for lab demos and myth busting.

Riverdale

Archie’s got an edge. Veronica’s hiding her past. Riverdale is a little darker and a lot more interesting than it was in the days of Archie Comics.

Stan

Stan is continuing to be strong in exclusive TV, bringing new series of iZombie and Better Call Saul in April. On the feature length side, the first ever film shot from a first-person perspective, Hardcore Henry, arrives soon, alongside the entire Back To The Future trilogy.

Hardcore Henry:

A recently resurrected soldier named Henry must rescue his wife (Haley Bennett) from a maniacal villain in this action movie that takes place entirely from a first-person perspective.

Better Call Saul:

As the new season begins, the repercussions of Chuck’s scheme test Jimmy and Kim’s fledgling law practices – and their romance – as never before. This imminent existential threat presses Jimmy’s faltering moral compass to the limit. As the season progresses, backstories are further illuminated with nods to the “Breaking Bad” universe – including the return of Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito).

iZombie:

From the creator of ‘Veronica Mars’ Rob Thomas, iZombie returns for a brand new season. This year, Liv (Rose McIver) discovers there are more zombies living in Seattle than she previously believed. In fact, there is a private military contractor employing a small zombie army, and that army is preparing for the day humans learn of their existence.

Back To The Future Trilogy

Lloyd) and a time traveling DeLorean for the adventure of a lifetime as they travel to the

With Foxtel On Demand, you can stream shows any time you want (surprisingly) although the shows have to be a part of your package already (say, the Drama package if you want to watch Game of Thrones). Here are some of the highlights:

Wentworth:

Season 5 picks up from last year’s shock ending and joins the first four seasons already streaming On Demand, bringing emotional, psychological and professional shockwaves to the staff and inmates of Wentworth Correctional
Centre.

The Leftovers

The final season of HBO’s compelling drama, The Leftovers, continues the mystery of an
unexplained incident that saw two percent of the world’s population suddenly disappear without a
trace.

Finding Dory:

The friendly but forgetful blue tang fish, Dory, begins a search for her long-lost parents, and everyone learns a few things about the real meaning of family along the way.
