Is SFIIHD Really Delayed In Europe Thanks To 'Faults & Problems'?

You may have read a few reports this morning concerning the fate of Street Fighter II HD Remix on PSN in Europe, and how it has been delayed due to "faults and other problems". But... has it really?

The original report claimed that the game was stuck in testing at SCEE, and had to be "redone" thanks to "faults and other problems". Those quotes were attributed to Capcom UK's Leo Tan.

So it's strange that, following up on the story, we were told the following by... Capcom UK's Leo Tan.

Just to confirm, I have not spoken to that site and did not offer any information on the delay of HD Remix in Europe.

We are keen to release Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix on PSN in Europe and we understand that demand for this game is high. We're looking to resolve the situation as soon as we possibly can.

So he says didn't speak directly to the site in question. That's clear. Note, though, that he says squat (SQUAT!) on the more important issue; namely, why the game's taking so damn long to turn up.

Leaving us back where we started. How depressing.

I couldnt wait any longer and downloaded it from the HK store - it cost just over $15AU to get, and my VISA card worked no worries. The only fault with the game is that on EASY the game WHOOPS my ass after the 3rd fight - but that could most likely be because I am crap...

Screw waiting. We knew it was going to take ages when there was no release date confirmed. I've given my money to SCEA instead and got my copy - and so have all the other fans in Aus by importing a psn card or using entropay/other misc c/c prepaid service.

The netcode, despite buggy, surprisingly isn't too bad playing against people in the U.S. But it's even better when playing someone in Asia or of course locally in Australia.

The stupid reason i think SF2HD is not out is because of the street fighter 4 limited edition box. I have seen it RRP for $199AU, the box has DLC which is said to been alternate costumes - not officially. People haven't been happy with paying extra for costumes so instead the DLC might be SF2HD, which is why it has not come out yet.
