The latest trailer for EA's SimAnimals highlights how adorable and cuddly the wild animals in the forest are, as opposed to the ferocious, baby-eating animals we see in the nature documentaries.
Due out next week for the Nintendo DS and Wii, SimAnimals is a pet sim that replaces your cuddly, store-bought hamster with an entire forest full of living, breathing animals, from playful badgers to playful grizzly bears. While the game does indeed portray some of the more ferocious qualities of forest creatures, they retain their cuddly, adorable look even while they violently shake at your hand with rows of razor-sharp teeth. Is this the lesson we want to teach our children?
Probably, yes. I'd make such a terrible father.
