Could The Future of Gaming Be Console Free?

Last week's annual Game Developers Conference in San Francisco gave gamers a tantalising glimpse at things to come in the world of interactive entertainment.


    "Could the future of gaming be console free"?

    I seriously hope not. I don't like the idea one bit.

    The flaw with this idea is that its all well and good if you have a great internet connection, but those of us in say, countries like Australia, where broadband sucks (high fees, gigabyte download limits, shoddy infrastructure) then this would suck.
