Aussie Charts: Absurd Wii Lifestyle Photo Edition

New games get released every week, as you know. They tend to sell more copies in their first week than at any other time. So the natural way of things is to debut high in the chart and then slide back down. Unless you're Wii Fit.

Nintendo's balance board exer-game once again returns to the top of the pile, thus increasing the number of Australian households featuring gurning dads making absolute fools of themselves.

All Format Full-Priced Games Top 10 for the w/e April 12:

1. Wii Fit (Wii) 2. Wii Play (Wii) 3. Singstar Queen (PS2) 4. Mario Kart (Wii) 5. Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars (DS) 6. Godfather 2 (PS3) 7. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare GOTY Edition (360) 8. Monsters vs Aliens (DS) 9, Godfather 2 (360) 10. Killzone 2 (PS3)

    I have been using WiiFit to track my weight loss over the last year or so so I like to feel that I have gotten some proper use out it. Yet when I see these charts I always feel like part of the problem.
    I need to go buy Valkyria Chronicles or something like it to re-dress the balance (no pun intended).

    Is it just me; or is his daughter pretty cute?

    @Commenter David,

    Yeah that girl is pretty fit.

    @ David - Well she wouldn't be there if she wasn't.

    The dad is fit, lulz.

    The shocking thing is that people are buying godfather 2...yikes

    Im actually disappointed that more people aren't buying GTA Chinatown Wars... for a DS title (and I own quite a few) it has ridiculously good production values... greate graphics, a manic huge 3d environment (on par with the size of GTA4), rather good physics and great gameplay. I mean, whats wrong with people... its a great game and not many people are buying it globally.

    I would totally do that chick on the couch

    caption for her: "GTFO dad your embarrassing both of us, way more than my taste in interior decorations"

    And yes despite said lack of interiors taste, she is hot, pale with red-hair = win
