    Thanks for giving our store a bit of the spotlight =)

    GAME suck. I tried to get a price match for the $128 dual shock 3 Little Big Planet combo and they refused to do it. I am thinking about no longer shopping there.

    @kaiden

    Something similar happened to me, as I tried to price match a pre-owned game with EB. Got refused, though I still shop at GAME over other electronic buttocks, due to their customer rewards scheme. Swings and roundabouts, really.

    @ Kaiden

    GAME wouldn't have matched the price because it's a great way to lose money. They're not a bigger, well established company (At least not here in Aus) like EB, Big W, ect. Also, if someone had a bundle like that that you wanted, why didn't you just go buy it from them?

    Man..the price is through the roof. Why are games so damn expensive in Australia?

    I agree with kaiden, I pre-ordered a copy of Fallout 3 and they assured me that they would price-match on the day of pick up. They refused to match the price (which was only $10 cheaper than their price).

    @paulus

    They wouldn't have refused without a reason.
    If the competitor is out of stock, technically we're not supposed to price match - but I do it for the customer service.

    But really, next time you go to EB Games for a price match, ask if you would get it for $5 cheaper if you bought preowned instead of new. I'm sure you would get it, depending on location as there are different area managers.
