What Are You Playing This Weekend?

It's a retro weekend for me, as I finally dive into the ancient riches of the Wii's Virtual Console.

On the download list are: Metroid, Castlevania III, Mega Man 2 and Zelda 2 for NES; Paper Mario, Super Mario RPG, Actraiser and Breath of Fire 2 for SNES. I'm thinking that should keep me going until late Sunday night.

How about you? What's on your gaming agenda this weekend?

Due to the quality releases we have had since Oct 08 I finally get the chance to sink my teeth into Far Cry 2.

    Viva Pinata. Really!

I'm mucking around on Noby Noby Boy (it's surprisingly fun), WipEout HD and Killzone 2.

I finished de Blob this morning. FANTASTIC GAME.

On the agenda this weekend, finish Darwnia, play some Multiwinia and attempt to finish Starcraft again. Thinking of buying Defcon as well, the atmosphere I saw in a video sold me from the get go.

I recently purchased Outrun Online Arcade, so will probably give that a whirl. Anyone know if it's compatible with the G25? It'd be awesome if it did! =D

Well I got back into fallout 3 with a ton of mods and also the two official ones, should be good

Also playing L4D, Warcraft 3, Valkyria Chronicles and a few PSN games

    Good times

Left 4 Dead.... I went back to it to check out survival mode, which I didn't really enjoy that much, but now I've been sucked back in to versus. Bit of a shame about the good-to-retarded player ratio though.

I'll be playing as much Little King's Story as I can fit in! Anyone else pick it up and loving it as much as I am?

Picked it up Friday and have spent a couple hours so far. The game definately has a certain charm to it.

Also I'll be spending some time catching Heatran.

Might finally start prestige mode in CoD:WaW, although it's not very tempting :\

    Ah ring of death.
    BUT - if i didn't, Left 4 Dead.

I'm playing Riddick Assault on Dark Athena and La Pucelle: Tactics. Strange combination I must say.

Tetris, tetris and more tetris! Possibly some Super Smash Bros Brawl and Starcraft =)
Just got myself Donkey Kong Country 2, as well. Last time I played that game was when I was 6! (Now I'm 17)

    Persona 4, awesome game.

far cry 2! just finished all the side quests and looking forward to getiing into the meat of the game, with my mgl, of course...

I've packed my Wii away as I'm moving soon, so no retro VC games for me.

Left my 360 out though so I'm finally gonna get into Fable 2 and if I get bored of that some GTA IV.

A lot of Street Fighter IV. Also getting stuck into Donkey Kong Country 3 again. Final Fantasy Tactics never leaves my DSi.

I would like to say Tom Clancy's HAWX and the flight stick that I won a few weeks ago from Kotaku, but I've yet to receive my prize.

Don't mean to sound rude David, but can you inform me when I can expect to receive my prize? I haven't gotten a reply from the email I sent you.

    Thanks

      @Darren R

I'll follow up with Ubisoft on Monday. Cheers for letting me know.

Since we now have trophy support, I'll be belting out some tunes on SingStar on the PS3.

Speaking of the virtual console though David, I don't suppose you know if/WHEN we are gonna see the C64 classics here in Australia? Uridium, Paradroid, Impossible Mission ("Another visitor. Stay a while. Stay....forever!"

    *wants*

I WAS watching blu rays via my PS3 this weekend, but 20 minute before the end of Resident Evil: Extinction, the thing decided it couldn't read blu rays anymore. Ugh.

well i have been playing Street Fighter IV again thanks to getting my Mad Catz SFIV Fightstick TE after waiting for 2 months, also some Braid on Steam which is a interesting game and if i can get it in, Quake Live.

Saints Row 2. Gonna kill some serious time with Ultor Exposed.....

....ok, I'm done. Those 17 minutes of gameplay were great! /sarcasm
