While Britain is in the grip of Wii fever at the moment, it's not the first time the nation has gone mad for a games console. So you can imagine console ownership rates are high.

According to a study conducted late last year by Harris Interactive, 23% of British households own a games console. That's not necessarily a new console, just a console. Which is around one in four.
Doesn't sound like a lot, but imagine every house in Britain - rich, poor, families, old folks, people who care about games, people who couldn't give a rat's arse - and it looks a bit more impressive.
