Game Critics Announce The "Official" Best Of E3

Lots of sites and magazines will tell you what they thought the best stuff at E3 was. Heck, we did! But only one set of awards are the result of the biggest outlets joining forces.

And those are the Game Critics Awards. Voted on by editors from 29 publications, ranging from IGN to GameStop to 1UP to... Kotaku, they're normally viewed - courtesy of that combined power - as the definitive list of what really stole the show at E3.

Disagree with most of this list.
No mention of Castlevania- Lord of Shadow or God of War 3?
And Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars as best fighting game? I think Fate Unlimited Codes Portable deserves that one.
    Too tired to continue.

I don't believe Castlevania was playable at the show, so it wouldn't have been eligible.

God of War 3 got nominated, but I wouldn't say it deserved to win anything.

      Anyway, go Scribblenauts!

Was there any gameplay footage of SupCom2?

Also, happy to see TOR up there as the best PC game =) Looking forward to giving that one a bash, that's for sure.

Damn right, Uncharted 2 was like *drool*... hangin out for that one BIG TIME.

Uncharted 2: Best of show, console and adventure game, the way it should be.

I've played the BETA and this is no understatement.

    wouldnt have thought lfd2 :s

The beta's mulitplayter was pretty lacklustre, bring on the single player story mode, that should rock! - and far too many yankee kids on there swearing and generally making it feel like an XBOX LIVE game rather than a PS3 game...

Anyway, X360 fanboys will be happy that their crappy motion control won best hardware - although watch them bag out the rest of this list since there is only one X360 exclusive game on that list (online multiplayer)

Was your irony intentional? Bagging on fanboys while acting like one yourself?

The "official" Best of E3 means as little to me as any one website's choice. There is no objective scale against which these games are measured.

I am equally excited about Halo: ODST as I am Heavy Rain. And that says something about me more than it does either of those games.

Yes that was my intention dipshit. How about learning about what sarcasm is?

Yes I can see you are excited about a game that is in its 58,000 iteration and a QTE button presser - woo I can feel the excitement at your house...

    @DansDans
You are really not very good at sarcasm.

Go listen to the Bungie Podcast, or the 1UP Backlog interview with David Cage and you'd realise that these games are the product of talented people, not faceless publishers.

Then maybe you'd be less of a dick about it.
