Tell Us Dammit

Think of this as the opposite of the Ask Me Stuff post. Here's how it works: We ask a question, you answer it. Simple and no strings attached!

This isn't some marketing survey or whatever. It's an emotional investment in you. Yes, we're interesting in knowing you, Kotaku reader person. You probably know fucktons about us — more than you even want to, we're sure. But, hey, we'd like to know about you, too.

Question: With doors now closed on another E3, what for you was the biggest surprise of the show?

For me, it was definitely not running late for a single appointment the whole three days of the show. Normally there's always one spanner thrown in the works at some point. But this year I made it to everything I planned to see. And it only took nine E3s to finally do it.

Left 4 Dead 2. Definitely didn't think we'd be seeing a sequal so soon.

While not the most exciting, or innovative, I'd have to say I was surprised by Microsoft's partnership with Facebook and Twitter!
I'm a Facebook junkie, so this is pretty awesome for me =D

Event- Kojima-san walking out onto the stage at the Microsoft conference.

Game- Alan Wake (I knew nothing of this game before seeing the conference, and it looks great)

The biggest surpise by far would have to be Project Natal, with Milo... Lionhead have definitly pulled out all the stops for this one... Its totally amazing, the tech demo that they showed was great and its a sign of things to come!

The worst of the show would have to be Nintendo Vitality... I can't wait to see what games that will be coupled with.

    Final Fantasy XIV
doubt I'll buy it, but it was definitely the surprise of the show.
Natal and PS3 motion controller to an extent, but we all knew they were both working on something like that

I'd have to say actually seeing fully fleshed out Alan Wake gameplay. Finally....

Also, I've done a complete 180 on my thoughts regarding Splinter Cell : Conviction. I am now rather interested.

    Gran Turismo PSP

It actually exists, playable and only 3 months away from release...

Can i just throw an off the topic comment in that 'The Touch' by Stan Bush, from the Transformers Cartoon Movie is now available for free!!! on Guitar Hero World Tour. Downloaded it yesterday.

Thanks for the update UNICRON, I was severely disappointed when I tried to grab it and they wanted to charge 160 points for it...

When is africa comming to AUS shores? Is it PSN still? Will it be released here when its released in u.s.?

i heard they announced a kenya expansion. apparently you can see lions and tigers only in kenya.

the pack comes with free snorkle

Brink. I knew a little bit about it before the show (FPS by Bethesda and Splash Damage), but after reading a few previews I can honestly say they took exactly what I wanted in a game and made it.

    Crackdown 2!!!!

i was surprised with the amount of Assassins Creed 2 footage and details we were given

I have a spare beta code for the Uncharted 2 Multiplayer if anyone wants it (as I won one from here and also from the comp they had on the site for the same thing)
tell me if you use it please :)

a MGS game on XBOX shook me up real good and yoko, ringo and paul being at the MS conference. both are expensive wastes of time if you ask me

FFXIV was a big suprise, especially since I heard FFXIII would be the last Final Fantasy. So was Metal Gear Solid: Rising, even though I remember hearing "official" word that they'd never be another Metal Gear Solid. At least some people are calling it Metal Gear Rising. I like that.
