What Are You Playing This Weekend?

I've got two RPGs and a couple of older games to keep me entertained this weekend.

I started playing Tales of Vesperia last Saturday. My progress has been slow - I've only made it as far as the fort outside of the starting city - but it's been enjoyable thus far and I'll continue on with that today.

Then there's the Point Lookout DLC for Fallout 3, which I hope to hit at some point. But I suspect I'll be distracted by some other encounter in the Wasteland.

Finally, I picked up a couple of older games on my local EB's bargain table today. No More Heroes, which I've never played, should provide a refreshing break from the weighty RPGs mentioned above. Or failing that, there's the Metal Slug Anthology, which is possibly the best palette cleanser there is.

What are you playing this weekend?

Red Faction and (laptop willing) Battlefield Heroes and TF2

Blood bowl! I can't believe they released it with so little fan fair.

Awesome, cheers for the link! Thats what I'll be playing now!

Trying to finish Dead Rising but argh it can be difficult!

Apart from that Red Faction Guerilla and the usual TF 2

Pic-Pic, Chinatown Wars, Soul Bubbles, Geometry Wars, all for the DS

NNNNOOOOO, not the PAL AU version of No More Heroes - sacrilege! NTSC all the way.
Been playing a bit more Wii than usual myself, The Conduit, Lego Batman (co-op with gf), homebrew, Let's Tap. I find playing a bunch of Wii games in session is better - my gf thinks I'm crazy, but I refuse to play a 360 or PS3 game prior to a Wii game so that the change in graphic clarity isn't so glaring.

Just got my copy of Ghostbusters for Xbox 360 @ Gametraders! So I'll be gunning ghosts for the weekend :D

i WANT to play Tales of Vesperia...however it's not in stock anywhere yet....

    asshats >_<

Have fun with No More Heroes, it's absolute brilliance! I'll probably be playing some GH: Metallica, bit of Punch-out!! and maybe some of The Path.

@Scruffy: Yeah, The Path is pretty cool. Did you keep up with the "critical" debates about it? Check out TalesofTales.com and ToucheBitches.com for some cool commentary.

PS. I'll be reliving reliving some BioShock glory.

I've done that thing where you get overly excited and start too many games at the once, and by the time you get to the point where you choose a title and commit to finishing it, you forget what's going on in the other games you've started and have to start again.
This weekend I'm streamlining my gaming, commencing with an effort to finally finish Crisis Core. I will then reward myself with FFVII, which I downloaded off PSN last week, even though in doing so I'm wasting time I should be using to commit to newer games by playing a game I've completed multiple times over the past 12 years.
See how this cycle starts? It's killing me.

well.. this afternoon i'll be playing centurion (the drinking game), followed by some multiplayer drunken wii... then some heavily drunken rock band..

recovery tomorrow? i just picked up Red Faction and Oblivion GOTY Edition, so that should keep me entertained.

I have 2 RPGs to play too, Valkyria Chronicles as well as FFVII again which although still looks great on PSP, not so great on the big screen, I just got out of Midgar and I dont know if I should bother getting everything again

    Playing some more Demon's Souls

Well, I *was* planning on playing some Tales of Vesperia this weekend but when I went to the store to pick up my copy I was told that the date had been pushed back another week...
If you can't get into your copy, David, I'll take it. XD

Roller Coaster Tycoon ... and then maybe some Rock Band.

I'm playing Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga. And when I start to become tired of that I'll change to Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4.

I think 'Shin Megami Tensei' translates to "What happens when take a regular J-RPG and replace all the boring bits with pure awesome."

Coincidentally, the third game I picked up from EB's bargain table yesterday was Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga 2. Got the soundtrack CD with it, too.

Team Fortress (as always) and some Restaurant City (Facebook). Maybe get some more L4D survival golds.

Rollcage Stage II (classic future racing game for the ps1), Socom: Confrontation and I gotta go back and finish KZ2. I got it on release and only played online (haven't playing it since i got Socom though).

I never played Stage II, but the first Rollcage is still a fine racing game. It's a bit ugly but it shifts.

Prototype. InFamous left me cold, while Activision's latest gorey release has me hooked.

I got some friends over today and Bomberman Ultra was by far the best party game ever. 7 players on the one screen made for some intense matches! =D I'll probably play some more Valkyria Chronicles the rest of this weekend!

I'm actually playing Peggle and getting my arse handed to me by the good lady wife. Of course I'm just treading water until next weeks release of Fight Night Round 4.

I'm overseas at the moment with only my PSP, so I'll be continuing on with Star Ocean: First Departure and a bit of Wipeout Pure. Plus I want to get into Silent Hill (the original) and I think this weekend will finally be the time

I'll be(have been) playing the recently bought CoD 4 and Super Stardust HD :)
With maybe a bit FFVII and getting the last few trophies in Dead Space thrown in...

Only game I played over the weekend was Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow as I'm trying to clean up and grab all the souls.
