You’ll never guess what’s back on top this wiik!

Wii Play trades places with Wii Fit at the summit, as perhaps the success of Virtua Tennis (at #6) and the imminent Wii Sports Resort encourages you all to grab another Wiimote to take advantage of those games’ multiplayer options.

Mario Kart sticks to 3rd like a barnacle on a Koopa’s shell. The Sims 3 returns from nowhere, confirming that last week’s shock absence was surely due to stock shortages post-launch.

inFamous discharges all over the lower end of the chart, while a couple of Fight Nights (a Fight Weekend?) slug it out over 5th and 10th places.

I’m curious though, with Wii Play consistently selling at the top of the pile, how many Wiimotes do you own now? (I’ve got two.)

5. Fight Night Round 4 (PS3)

  • Sports resort is good with Motion +. Tiger 10 is pretty good too with the disc golf and draw and fade shots. Pre-Order resort at game and you get another motion + for free, doing that so I have one for all 4 remotes.

  • My Wii has been getting more play than both the 360 and PS3 combined the last month, what with Grand Slam Tennis, Nyx Quest, Boom Blox Bash Party, Tiger Woods and now The Conduit. This tired argument that there are no good games to play on the system is boom bollox.

(And before some smart arse says ‘hur hur, i want good games, not shit like The Conduit’, It actually plays really well for a fairly generic shooter – and generic shooters are something the 360 knows all about.)

  • 2 Wii remotes… oddly enough I have 4 (2 SIXAXIS, 2 Dual Shocks) PlayStation Controllers and 4 XBOX Controllers though…

  • I have 4 remotes. When i bought the extra 2, I bought Wiiplay and thent raded the Wiiplay game right away. Got the Remote for $10 AUS less then it costs bvy itself. I doubt wiiplay trade in value is still as good though.

  • Virtua Tennis was the worst of the 2 tennis games that came out, and the ‘good’ one (EA Grand Slam Tennis) wasn’t much to write home about!

2 Wiiremotes for me, and they are well used this year.

Little King’s Story flowed into Pikmin 2. Let’s Tap! was followed by the superb Boom Blox: Bash Party and Tiger Woods 10.

Next week we get Wii Sports’ Resort! Been a great year on the Wii if you know where to look?!
