Lots Of People Bought IPhones

The iPhone is more than a phone, it's also a gaming platform. Ever wonder why there are so many iPhone games? It's because there are so many iPhones.

In the third quarter ending June 27, Apple sold 5.2 million iPhone. That's a 626 percent increase from the same quarter last year.

"We're thrilled to have sold over 5.2 million iPhones during the quarter and users have downloaded more than 1.5 billion applications from our App Store in its first year," says Apple's Steve Jobs.

Don't expect a slow of iPhone games anytime soon.

Which isn't a bad thing, I bough one, and am in-fact excited at the idea of more games coming/come out from a number of big developers. Bethesda, EA, Bioware... etc

Now all we need are iPhone games that are actually good.
I have yet to find one that gives me gamerwood.

LOL don't hold ya breath. I've tried a few and some of them are pretty decent but, we need a controller of some sort. I am a man and I have MAN hands. So, when trying to control a game having just 1 finger on the screen kinda blocks a large proportion of it. Making it pretty un-playable. The Rolando games aren't too bad as you just need to use the accel' most of the time to control it. But, it's a very "casual" game. MGS looks really good but a controller is a must for that sort of game.
