New Star Wars: The Force Unleashed DLC Spoiled By New Achievements

LucasArts may be ready to drop some new downloadable content for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, as five new Xbox 360 achievements have expanded not only the possible gamerscore, but the game's character roster as well. Warning, spoilers ahead.

The five new achievements boost the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed achievement count from 1220—220 of those points added alongside the Jedi Temple Mission Pack DLC—to 1345 points. Thing is, LucasArts hasn't publicly announced that new downloadable content. But it appears it will soon.

The spoiler-filled possible new additions to The Force Unleashed are after this.

  • And The Quarterback is Toast - Defeat Boba Fett
  • Skywalker Style - Meet Jabba and defeat his pet using the pit gate
  • No More Lies, Old Man - Defeat Obi-Wan, before and after he becomes more powerful than you can possibly imagine
  • Hot Bot - Use the hot irons three times on the Gonk Power Droid
  • Jawa Juicer - Crush 5 Jawas by using the grinder in the Garbage Processing Room

Nice Die Hard reference, guys.

We've contacted LucasArts to get clarification on these new unannounced additions, but haven't yet heard back. That may be because the new DLC announcement was planned to be made at next week's Comic-Con Star Wars Spectacular keynote, one of the "world exclusive announcements" the publisher has planned.

Well, I might be the only person in the world who is, but I look forward to it. TFU got a raw deal from the public, who expected much more (or wanted to hate it from the beginning...). I think it was a very competent action game that delivered plenty of fun.

You gotta admit, the developers hyped the game up a little too much, and all their fancy new technologies added up to were a character who didn't know how to open a door, and Stormtroopers that tripped over a lot. Can't say I'm surprised if a lot of people were disappointed.

That said, it still turned out to be a decent action game. Not without its flaws, but still a lot of fun.

New DLC that added extra gameplay would be a pleasant surprise, and as long as it's not ridiculously over-priced, I'll be checking it out. I was planning to play through the game again soon anyway.

Bout time! Need some more force powers in my life and The Old Republic is taking to long!

Hey Kotaku, I have a bit of a request: if they're adding new achievements to the 360 version then would it be possible to find out if that also means the PS3 will be getting a trophy patch? They never ruled out the idea, but said that it wouldnt be included upon release. Many thanks in advance!

lol i just noticed.it on seem to show up for me when i go into compare games to see my friends acheivments. and yes it will be released on PS3 cause all games on both consoles have all the same acheivments.

"truth is a lie; there is only..."
