Tell Us Dammit

Dammit, we want you to tell us stuff! Stuff like your ideas for Wii MotionPlus.

This isn’t some marketing survey or whatever. It’s an emotional investment in you. Yes, we’re interesting in knowing you, Kotaku reader person. You probably know fucktons about us — more than you even want to, we’re sure. But, hey, we’d like to know about you, too.

Anyway, here’s today’s question…

Question: Wii Sports Resort is now out in Australia. It's packed in with the Wii MotionPlus, adding greater fidelity to your motion control. So far it's been all about sports games, but what gaming activities would you like to see take advantage of MotionPlus?

Me? Flying the plane remains my favourite pastime in Wii Sports Resort. Yet your objectives while doing so are quite limited. Expanding the array of tasks and goals to be more in line with, say, Pilotwings, but keeping the same control method... I'd buy that. You?

    Maestro Mayhem

An artist type game would be perfect , paint pictures with the Wii Motion plus.

how about a proper trauma centre game with over the top bloody operations, even set it in a M.A.S.H.-like warzone setting

I was thinking a thief game. Use could use it as the blackjack and bow and arrow but with the extra motion the lock picking mini-game could be really satisfying.

OK, this has got my attention.

    REZ-Wii !

    Although it'd be a let down after the amazing REZ-HD on the 360. 1080p -> 576i = :(

im so glad no one has decided to go with the pornographic implementation yet (as fun as that may be)

Me, i'm boring.. a decent star wars game? or any other hack n slash/dueling game where my swipes are read in real time properly...
Maybe a decent version of jenga? some extra modes on boom blocks?

i do like the idea of a good wii air fighter though. maybe with the wiimote held like a propper flight stick that fires when you put your thumb over the sensor???

Be good for archery perhaps? I really want to play some game where you use it as a dagger and stab people up close or better yet fibre-wire!I can just imagine hitman 5 on the Wii and you use the nun chuck and remote as fibre wire handles with the cord in the middle giving added realism, now that would be fun.

Think Black & White's spell casting system, but with the wii-mote.

A new Die by the Sword style game.

Oh yeh, one more thing. Nunchaku.

I would like to finally see a good 3d sword fighting game, like 'Mazan Flash Of The Blade'.
Wii Motion Plus should be able to pull that off.

Maybe being able to use two remotes at the same time for something like boxing, or maybe shield and sword, or dual wield weaponry (god or war inspired??)
