The Week In Games

Another slow week for new releases, but at least there’s a bit of quality over quantity this time.

Sorry, PS3, PSP, PS2 and DS owners. Move along, nothing to see here. Oh, and sorry to the Mac gamers out there, there’s nothing for you either.

Oh, and there’s also nothing for you PC, 360 and Wii owners if you don’t care for either shooters or baseball sims.

Which narrows it down a bit.

New releases for the w/c July 13:

ArmA II (PC)
What Is It? Super hardcore military shooter that gives you control over the entire theatre of war. From the guys who made the original Operation Flashpoint.
Should You Care? Best for those who appreciate staggeringly ambitious games that don’t quite work properly.

The Bigs 2 (360)
What Is It? Some sort of bat and ball sports activity, I think.
Should You Care? I hear it’s pretty good if you’re into that sort of thing.

The Conduit(Wii)
What Is It? Sci-fi first-person shooter that shows the Wii if perfectly capable of hosting the FPS genre.
Should You Care? Mixed reviews may be out there, but we liked it.
