Valve Brings Left 4 Dead 2 To Comic-Con, Reveals "Swamp Fever"

Electronic Arts and Valve will be revealing all-new Left 4 Dead 2 content at this year's San Diego Comic-Con, including the new campaign "Swamp Fever," darkly pictured above. Where and when can you play it?

The "where" is the EA Gaming Lounge Presented by Xbox 360 at the Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter Hotel. The "when" is 2-9 pm Thursday-Saturday, and 12-5 pm on Sunday, which means you'll need to miss out on valuable Con time.

Should you not have the means to make it to Comic-Con this year, we'll be going hands-on with Left 4 Dead 2 on the Wednesday before Comic-Con kicks off officially. Valve promises to not only show off the second of five campaigns featured in L4D2, but also "a few more of the 20-plus new items" that will be included in the sequel.

Oh, that picture plumps when you click it, should you feel like squinting very hard for any details.

So they ARE doing a campaign thats not in daylight. THANKGOD!
Still think 5 campaigns is a bit cheap.

You'd think as games got better with graphics & newer generation, more powerful consoles. They'd make games longer and push them to the boundaries.

Left 4 Dead is a great game. I understand where this boycott is coming from, but i'm still going to get the game. However, Left 4 Dead was similar to Mirror's Edge & Dead Space to me. A little short and not worth the $99 price tag like other games have.

L4D does have online capabilities which is a plus and puts it above the other two. However, overall it still lacks a bit of longevity that other games fortunately have.

I might just have to do what i did with L4D and not buy it from a retailer and get it $35 cheaper online!!!! It's the way to go!!

My main issue with the proposed L4D2 boycott is that unlike EA, Valve priced the original accordingly to its size to its size $50 here in Aus. And I have certainly got my moneys worth out of it.
I have absolutely no problem paying another $50 or even more to get L4D2 in the first week of its release.

You got it for $50, when it came out? I still see it for $90 in most stores, I think its 40 or 50 off steam, but I'm pretty sure thats US dollars anyway.
