Exclusive to the show for gamers by gamers, Good Game, Valve Software founder and CEO Gabe Newell has revealed an idea for a community-based funding model for games, made possible by the digital distribution platform Steam.
In a wide-ranging interview, Newell also touches on his move into the gaming world, creating Half-Life and Steam, and Valve's stance on piracy and other issues. Also interviewed are co-founder of Team Fortress and true-blue Aussie John Cook, as well as Valve's Business Manager Jason Holtman.
