Hyper TV Was Jam Packed Full Of Gaming Goodness

Hyper is Australia's oldest video games magazine. But did you know it was also a TV show?

Yesterday we shared with you the wicked dudes of The Zone. Today it's time to strap yourself in for Hyper TV, proof that Australia video game television has always been up there with the world's best.

Highlights include Wallaby Ben Tune admitting his Rugby 2001 game was worth maybe a 7.5 or 8 out of 10, if you're not really into the sport. And Sony's Michael Ephraim promising that at some point in the future you'll be able to connect your PS2 to the "Net" and send emails and browse the web.

You can watch the complete episode in six parts at the link below.

ah Hyper, the magazine that started it all..

I think I owe my career to that magazine!

I used to have every Hyper magazine apart from issue #1 with chun-li and 'virtual sex'

I never got to watch the TV show! Cheers David for the link!

That show sucked, and the thing I hated most was the loser who thought giving out one cheat code per show was some sort of scoop.

I loved reading Hyper back in the day, never watched the show though. Didn't David Wildgoose used to be a writer for the mag?
