Hunter, for the Atari ST or Amiga (can’t be sure :P)
But, yeah, Hunter. It was the GTA of it’s time.

Looks like Carrier command – or does it?
Either way just wanted to mention that game, I absolutely loved being able to have the manta’s flying and me boarding the island with the little tank things and throwing a virus into the command centres.

Hunter. On the Amiga. The only game I know of that let you kill a rabbit, from the air, with a 100lb bomb

Yup, it is hunter, even the thumbnail I could see that. So many wasted hours, I spent, on my Amiga 500..

Still “wasting” time on my trusty amiga hehe! =)
I played this one, but never really got very far in it.

hehe, ok wasted is too hard a word. I still have my Amiga too, a nice little a1200, with “some” upgrades, works quite nicely for 15 year old technology. 🙂
PS. Carrier Command was awesome, I actually managed to kill the opposing carrier once, got presented with a screen of text! woo. those were the days hehe.

Never played hunter, but was glad it reminded me of CC, which got me searching and I found a makeover. YAY!

1: Hah. Beat you all.
2: He just ripped the Wikipedia image for the game (either that, or got the exact same image).

I really have to keep an eye out for these a bit earlier in the day.
Hate to think how many hours I spent on this. One of my housemates was always saying stuff like “fire up Alien Breed!” and I’d say “yeah, in a minute, I just want to see what’s over this way”. After a while, he’d give up and go watch TV 🙂

And how many other games have windsurfing as a mode of transport? Just don’t fall off when there’s a shark about!
