Ubisoft Honcho Thinks More 2010 Games Will Be Moved Again

There were a ton of games scheduled for this December, then then a big chunk of them moved to early 2010. Ubisoft president Yves Guillemot thinks those games will move again.

Titles like Heavy Rain, Bioshock 2, Red Dead Redemption and Bayonetta were all moved to 2010.

"We now have a situation where there are a lot of good games due for release in the first half of next year, but I think some publishers will move again," Guillemot told website MCV. "The first quarter of 2010 is looking pretty crazy. So I expect some movement from the other players — some of those delayed games will be moved again."

Prediction or warning? Ubisoft's Splinter Cell: Conviction was moved from Holiday 2009 to early 2010. Will it be moved again? Will it, Yves?

Considering it was meant to come out two years ago, it'll be ridiculous if it does get delayed again.

Then again, judging by how good the new version of the game looks, I am pretty glad they did that two year delay.

I never expected Conviction to come out two years ago. Perhaps Holiday 2008 i would have believed. But definitely no earlier than Holiday 2008.

I would care cause it looks so sweet and i'm really looking forward to it. Not only that, it is finished - so just release it already.

I expect a Heavy Rain delay and it wont shock me if it does. There hasn't been much talk of that game. The delay will probably be promotion problems and possibly extra dev time. Bioshock 2 delay will piss so many people off so a delay of that MAY not happen. Perhaps the other titles surrounding that will most likely shift.
