What Are You Playing This Weekend?

It's a games-free weekend for me. At least, that's the plan anyway.

Every now and then it's good to take a break, to recharge those gaming batteries and rekindle any flagging interest. So, yes, this weekend I don't plan to play a single video game.

I made up for it by playing Halo 3: ODST's campaign all day Friday though.

How about you? What's on your gaming agenda this weekend?

Getting through BioShock. Can't help walking around exploring and scavenge for loot, so it's taking much longer than it should. Nice.

    Bit of CoD4 MP too.

And maybe, if my pings are able, some Battlefield Heros.

Still temped to buy Trails HD...

Heroes of Newerth. Awsome dota clone currently in beta. Yall should try it!

I'm probably just going to be playing Killing Floor and Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops.

I'm slowly making my way through Arkham Asylum.

Champions Online (hit lvl20 last night), and Darkest of Days (fantastically good fun, all the reviews for it seem to miss the point of that whole "fun" thing, instead bagging it out for not being a multi-million dollar title like Call of Duty).

Either leveling my Paladin in WoW, or working on my Pokemon Platinum team to take on a couple of guys I know.

    I'm gonna finish uncharted again

    Playing through Braid this weekend.

Metroid Prime Trilogy - Prime 1 in general. And some newly patched BF2.

Champions Online here as well. Having a blast!

Braid, finally got it on steam for $5.

I'll mostly be playing Sacred 2 all weekend, but I'd also like to play some Far Cry 2 a bit as well

    Nice screenshot.

The WipEout HD dynamic theme that got released the other day inspired me to finally get the Fury expansion, so I'm getting back into that game in a big way. I regret my long absence from it: this is one amazing game.

The Beatles: Rock Band at various parties mainly :P

Space Hulk and more The World Ends with You

    What's Space Hulk? SOMETHING NERDY

Gonna finish Professor Layton and the Curious Village so I can finally get started on Diabolical Box. I'll probably get sidetracked with my usual online staples though, which are Halo 3 and GTA IV

Probably STILL dwarf fortress... Arkham asylum has me going too, and Darkest of Days, its actually pretty damn awesome fun, especially the civil war era. :)

    Rock Band: The Beatles

    Loving it!!!

I'll be working all weekend but probably get some MS points to purchase Battlefield 1943, shame that it has a trial limit.

Okay David, you officially suck! Fair enough not playing for the weekend, it is good to take an occasional break.

BUT teasing us with your "Halo 3 ODST Campaign play through all day friday" is not cool dude.

    Shame on you!

    Psychonauts in progress this week.
    Probably ZELDA:WW later
man, I finally have time to re-enjoy some old-school and they are just kick ass!

Mass Effect for me. Just finished reading the tie in novel, ME: Ascension that made me want to go back and play it again

Well I'm getting drunk and singing Beatles rock back with my housemate.

    Dave & fellow readers..

Thought i'd share a bargin. Harvery Norman have the Xbox 360 Elite on sale. $429 which if i'm corrected is the RRP of the console itself. You get Halo 3 and Halo 3: ODST with it. SO basically those two for free. I understand ODST comes for free with every Elite for a limited time when it launches, but you're also getting Halo 3 for no extra cost pretty much.

You can go buy it now the catalogue states, which means retailers have the (new) Elites in stock already. And just says to pick up ODST on its release from the store. Looking at the catalogue, it lists it comes with a HDMI cable. So if you're after an Elite but disappointed about no HDMI cable, mention that it is listed in the catalogue and well, you score a HDMI cable due to bad advertising.

Thought i'd share that with you all!
