Bookie Lists Modern Warfare 2 As Favourite To Sell Most

Irish bookmaker Paddy Power is offering a proposition bet on what will be the United Kingdom's top-selling game, giving Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 most-favoured billing at 11/8 odds.

Other contenders include Assassin's Creed at 7/2 and FIFA 10 at 4/1. Core-gamer darlings such as Tekken 6, BrĂ¼tal Legend and Left 4 Dead 2 all can't do better than 40/1. Grand Turismo is 25/1 and ODST is 12/1. Sadly, Demon Tits is not listed. And in oddsmaking that plainly defines "sucker bet," Metroid: Other M, Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Alpha Protocol are all offered for wagers; none will be out before the week of Dec. 19, when Paddy will consult data at www.chart-track.co.uk and declare a winner.

Here's the field; you're welcome to offer your own proposition, too.

Assassins 1 did pretty well over there from what i am remember.. but i think MW2 or FIFA.

FIFA has a head start really and its taken off REALLY well, better than all previous games. However, MW2 is gonna have a bigger first day and first week and first month sales.

But - if they're talking about top selling game for the year, well MW2 only has a month and a big to do it, which it most likely will. But FIFA def gonna give it a run for its money. Oh and FIFA would be cheaper too i would say.

Ill take $100 on GT5... oh wait..

Wii Fit Plus 8/1 - for the WIN? do they not pay attention to the current sales data?
