Voice Actor Says MW2's Ghost Might Get A Game

At the game's UK launch event, Craig Fairbrass, the voice actor for Ghost in Modern Warfare 2, said the character will get a spinoff comic and possibly a game of his own, although what exactly is not clear.

Here's the quote, which That VideoGame Blog attributes to audio of the event:

I did in the last game a voice for a character called Gaz and in this game I'm now voicing a guy called Ghost, who now just got a spin-off comic of his own and they're talking about another little game to go with it. So, I'm quite excited about it. It's grown and grown and grown.

Destructoid notes the context in which this was mentioned - "another little game to go with" a spinoff comic - means it could be just a flash game to coincide with the book's launch (which coincided with the game's Nov. 10 release). That's a pretty reasonable take, although I've asked Robert Bowling if he or Infinity Ward would like to say any more. Modern Warfare 2's Ghost Getting His Own Game? Yea I thought Ghost sounded like Gaz! It confused the hell out of me cos I was thinking "wait... is that Gaz?!"

Some Ghost single-player DLC would be nice!! I'd buy it!

He already has one. Its called 'Army of Two'. Fist-bump away!

Well I guess the game he is in won't be MW3... That sucked actually - his skull mask is cool as all hell - I would rather he was a persistent character, rather than Soap. Price stuck around though, which is awesome.

Yeah it confused me as well. I thought Ghost was actually Gaz who somehow magically survived the end of MW1. Obviously he had a massive scar or something on his face which was why he wore a skull mask. Can definately see some DLC set between MW1 and 2 featuring Ghost and Soap though. Perhaps the setup and first missions of Taskforce 141? Narrative wise, thought the explanation of who this group were, was really lacking from MW2.

Everyone thought their was going to be DLC for Halo 3 for actual levels and bridge the gap between 2 and 3. It happened but not in DLC form.

This kinda reminds me of how Comic books give spin-offs to characters you don't care about. Ghost was hardly in the game and didn't seem like an important character to me.

When he died - actually when both died - i was like ohhh here we go again. It seems that is IW only plot twist. death.

But ODST for me worked out okay with bridging the gap even though it was with Master Chief. But if they released DLC to bridge the game with COD4 and COD6 - it would be pointless. The storyline is way to sloppy and a real mess and it will be exactly the same as what they offer in both games. No one is saying thats what they're doing - but if they did, it just seems a little, pointless.

Price was in the gulag cause he was cptured at the end of MW1

on the trailer for mw2 you see someone else with the jumpercables not ghost also cod wiki is mint
