Brittany Murphy Also Did Game Voice Work

But these days, what actor isn't? Still, with the sad news of Brittany Murphy's passing, it's not only time to look back at her movies, but her career as a voice artist.

She voiced Karen Light in Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure as well as Gloria in the Happy Feet game and movie. She lent her voice to King of The Hill and direct-to-DVD release Futurama: The Beast with a Billion Backs.

The 32-year-old Murphy also played Wii Fit in high heeled boots at least once. Rest in peace.

I think I speak for many when I say:

If by 'many' you mean a small minority then that may be true.

I have absolutely no idea who that girl is. Call me in the small minority.

Huh, well there you go. Maybe I assume too much.

I would have thought Sin City or 8 Mile would have been enough for anyone to remember her.

I'll miss her. She was one of a few actresses who weren't completely overrated. And she was in Sin City! That movie was awesome.

That "Getting Up" game was banned in Australia so I'm not familiar with her work in that title.

The scene in Sin City with Clive Owen, her apartment and the toilet is one of my fave parts and funniest too.

    She will be missed.

That's not much of a look back - more of a glance listing the titles of stuff she did. I noticed this on IMDB when I looked at what she did, but I guess 30 seconds of research is good enough to make a news story :)

    RIP Brittany Murphy.

She died too young, quite a shame. She was a brilliant actress.
