this is soooo ridiculous, c'mon quadcore and a GTX 260! this is overrated for recommended specifications

    GTX 260 lolwut

I bet this game has a Nvidia splash screen on startup. Notice that they put the ATI equivalent in minimum specs but don't list any in the Recommended...

All an advertisement is for any product is just a 'recommendation' by its supporters.

      Lucky i have two of them and quadcore Q6600 @ 3.0ghz :D

Lucky you're not a dickhead! Wwwwwaiiiit.....

"Please, now, bore us all with tales of whether or not this game will run on your PC, and how you say it’ll make you go out and upgrade, but really won’t."

Way to promote posting and discussion on your site.. dick!

It's a post about specs. What did you expect? Enlightened discussion of the games flaws and selling points? Post specs. People bitch about not being able to run it or brag about being able to run it. It's basic cause and effect.

I watched two guys last night ingame Cod4-MW1 chatting about how they wanted MW2 but had up upgrade but couldn't afford it, but might for christmas but then couldn't afford to buy the game but then needed to get a bigger monitor to enjoy the graphics but that would be too much and they didn't want a good monitor before they had a better graphics card but then they would like to get more RAM and one of their mates has neon but he should have bought a better mouse first and then they are supposed to be saving to move out...

Just get a job (or a second job) and buy the gear.
        Then shut up and game.

Aye lass. She'll run a fine ship.

Holy shit recommended quad core and GTX260. It's only been a year and my GTX285 is looking so crap now ._.

Soon those specs will the the MINIMUM! aaaaaaaa~

there's nothing that my little c2d, 8800gt 4gb can't run on high in the last 3 years. At the most, I turned down the res on crysis.

its a good thing i have a PS3 that doesnt need upgrading ;)

      MiK3, don't you mean you have a PS3 that CAN'T be upgraded?

Yeah, Mik. You just have to live with graphics becoming more and more outdated till you need a new machine. Like the rest of us.

mate 4 months ago: "you know your better off getting a dual core since developers arent going to optimise quad cores properly for at least 1-2 years"

operation flash point specs come out not later "**** recommended has quad's i only have dual, this is ********"

now with these specs, me = :D friend = :@

Lets hope Nvidia get their act together and release the GTX 300 series in time for this one...

    when is this coming out

It'll run fine on my 1 year old PC. iCore 7 920, GTX295. I got it pretty cheap to for back then. 260 isn't that high, you could build a PC pretty cheap with a 260 and a quad.

Yep crush these specs, will crush it even more when I decide between a 5870 or the new Nvidia Fermi when it launches. FYI asking for a GTX260 really isnt asking for much, they're not exactly expensive.

Anyway those whinging can just turn the res down to say, 1280x720 (same res as the consoles) and keep all the details up. Will still look better with more eye candy and will run at a solid 60 frames not 30.
