Can you guess this old game from just one screenshot?
I’ll update this post with the answer at 5pm today if no one has guessed before then. Or if you do guess it before then, feel free to share your memories of a classic game.
Good luck!

Captain Comic!
Pearler of a game, many many hours spent playing that game back in the day!
omg! is that what that game is called? it was my favourite game but I could never remember the name!
Hey! Captain Comic!
Our school had a ‘computer club’. At each level of the computer club you got taught a different password, and each level let you play different games.
The two games I loved to play the most were Captain Comic, (Which I absolutely sucked at) and ‘Miner VGA’, (Which I also sucked at). But by gosh did I have fun.
Wow. I haven’t thought about this game since I played it about 20 years ago.
And yet it all seems so familiar like I could almost reach out and touch the amount of nostalgia swimming around me.
Totally forgot the name though (until mentioned by others).
The Space bar on our computer broke because of this game.
Still was worth it tho.
Ah this was one of those games I really didn’t get for some reason, and much preferred Cosmo’s Cosmic Adventure 🙂
I’m suprised there isn’t more remakes of classic games – movies are getting more and more into it now because they know people will see it for nostalgic reasons rather than if it’s actually good or not, so it’s a much less risky venture.
Maybe it’s because companies who aquired companies who aquired other companies are just sitting on the license waiting to sue someone for using their work 🙂
Ah Captain Comic. One of my claims to fame when I was a young’un was having finished this game. How many of you can say that? Probably more than when I was 10 I suppose.
Yes, I was so stoked when I completed this game. Absolutely brilliant game! I was a bit let down with the sequel though 🙁
Another reason for it’s brilliance: It shares the same theme song as the Crows 😛
God, I loved this game. Couldn’t get past the fourth area tho. My cousin had to do it for me 🙁
Still, awesome stuff. I reckon leave it in DOS, if todays programmers get a hold of it, it’ll turn all brown and gray. COLOUR WORKS IN THIS GAME!!!!
