  • I dont think Halo 2 will EVER be dethroned from the top of that list.

I knew that would top it, as with Battlefied 1943.

What shocks me is that MW2 did’t even crack the second spot (or #1). I understand it only had a month and a half to do so, but with the numbers it sold, it shocks me A LOT!

I mean, i believe Halo 3 topped the list even though that had a September release. But MW2 was the “biggest entertainment launch” blah blah…

Ahh just proves Halo’s legendary status.

  • and us poor Ausfalians can’t access Indie Games because of classifications BS. Also, congrats of Marvel v Capcom 2. Good to see fighter up there, especially a proper, fast fighter. None of this slow fighting games of today.

  • I don’t quite understand these stats, are these just what games are being played by people while connected to xbox live? I have no idea how Halo is still topping this list and MW2 isn’t.

I’ve been playing some ODST online the last few days and it’s only showing 50,000 people online. MW2 usually shows at least 120,000. Now I’m assuming when you play ODST it matches you with people who are playing Halo 3 online as well, if it doesn’t that might account for why Halo 3 is above MW2 whereas ODST has much fewer players. Maybe I’ll throw my old Halo 3 in and try it online, might find some more people.
