We’re back on schedule with the charts today. Although, to look at this week’s top ten, you’d be forgiven for thinking we just hadn’t updated them.

That’s not entirely true, I suppose. However, the top five games remain the same as last week, albeit in slightly rejigged order. Wii Sports Resort continues to hang on to the number one slot, while New Super Mario Bros. surprisingly finds itself at number four.

Below that, Modern Warfare 2 and Assassin’s Creed II continue to perform respectably. But Wii Fit? And Mario Kart on DS? We thought we’d lost you guys for good. Welcome back!

All Format Full-Priced Games Top 10 for the w/e January 3:

1. Wii Sports Resort (Wii)
2. Wii Fit Plus (Wii)
3. Mario Kart (Wii)
4. New Super Mario Bros. (Wii)
5. Wii Play (Wii)
6. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (PS3)
7. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (360)
8. Wii Fit (Wii)
9. Mario Kart (DS)
10. Assassin’s Creed II (360)

  • Wow… I think it’s great that AC2 has popped up again into the top 10.

However i think we all know that this nintendo doomsday that is apparently happening with them losing “XX”% is simply not happening in Australia 😛

  • I believe we should all be blaming EB Games for the charts being the way it is. as that’s pretty much the Wii christmas deals and other specials. lol. then again, that’s what the families wanted for christmas. atleast people are still buying games. and lots of them. plus, real gamers already bought all the good games a few months ago!
