Borderlands "Largest DLC" Yet: The Secret Armory Of General Knoxx

Gearbox Software has officially announced and detailed the third and "largest" helping of downloadable content for its popular shooter RPG Borderlands, the level cap raisin' "Secret Armory of General Knoxx".

Gearbox and 2K promise "brutal, never-before-seen enemies in a huge new environment complete with tons of brand new missions" as well as "entirely new weapons and items" in The Secret Armory of General Knoxx. The next Borderlands expansion will, as previously promised, also raise the level limit from 50 to... a number larger than 50.

The Secret Armory of General Knoxx appears to be tailored to challenge players "from around level 34 to level 50" according to Gearbox's announcement.

The developer did not date or price the expansion, which is due for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. But it did provide two screen shots! Here's the second.

Great news, any excuse to play this more is a good one :)

Name 'influenced' by Zelda's General Onox.

I MIGHT actually buy this one then. Better not disappoint.

I do need to get my hands on some MS points however - anyone know a place to get cheap points. I understand its easier to get cheap XBL Gold than Points, but there have been times where someone sells it for like $5 cheaper.

    Any online sites????

They usually have some sort of special on points or Live.

Try or hit up your local Game Traders, as last time I bought points they were the cheapest by a few $$.

Just had a look, they have 3000 MS Points for $49.40

That's a saving of ten cents.

        You forgot the exclamation mark

it's a saving of $10.60 over buying 3000 points at RRP

The conversion rate is 100 Points = $1.65, so 3000 Points is $49.50. Not sure where you're seeing 3000 Microsoft Points for sale at $60, but it's a rip-off.

Those 10 cents adds up over time xD. You could need it one day :P

    save another 40 cents! Hooray!
