Do You Want Rez HD On The PS3? Tell Q!

Rez and Space Channel 5 creator Tetsuya Mizuguchi has toyed with the idea of bringing more of Q Entertainment's games from Xbox Live Arcade to the PlayStation Network. It could finally happen, if you demand it.

While it appears that nothing is (still) set in stone, Q's Twitter account makes it sound like more of a possibility, noting that the Japanese developer is "researching" to see if a PSN release of Rez HD would be a worthwhile endeavor.

"What would a game like Rez HD sell for on PSN? $US15? This is no indication that it's happening, but we're researching if its feasible," wrote Q Entertainment reps on the developer's Twitter account.

Warning that "this isn't something we need to do, or will necessarily develop," Q says it's "doing some informal polling to take back to our [business development people] ." That means, if you're a PlayStation 3 owner with a hankering for some high-definition Rez, you're going to have to speak up.

Oh oh pleaaaaase put it up on PS3. I would oh so love to obtain it! But do I really have to sign up to twitface to respond? :(

hmmmmm Rez HD.... How about they hold off for a bit and release Rez 3D, with Sony motion control support...

I don't even own a PS3 and I'd love to see this released - RezHD is so good that I really want everyone to be able to enjoy it.

YES YES YES!!!! Please Q, bring this to PSN.

Depending on what they charge, I'd seriously consider buying it. But if it was over AU$15 then I'd probably just stick to playing my PS2 copy.
